When logic and proportion have fallen sloppy dead

I hope you all had a very merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year. I had the most fabulous two weeks at home and quite literally dragged my feet back to return to Germany (seriously. My parents thought it was hilarious). I only have a month or so left here before I move on to new horizons, namely my time in France! It's currently all rather stressful and up in the air, however I do know I shall be heading to Corsica - yes, Corsica! - to intern at museum there for a couple of months, which is rather lovely. After that, I have no idea. Living from moment to moment is frankly rather stressful but it shall all hopefully sort itself out and be entirely worth it. Besides, Spring and Summer in France seems heavenly at the moment.

The day before I returned here I spent a very hurried hour between packing screencapping these beautiful shots from a televised production of Alice in Wonderland: the ballet which showed over Christmas. I've talked before about the joy of theatre and stage, and the incredible creativity that is often employed there, but this particular one was mind blowing. The dancing itself was gorgeous, but it was the sets, costumes and inventive ideas in translating a children's book into a ballet which really struck me. Look and enjoy :)

(Props go to the Royal Ballet for dancing so beautifully and the BBC for showing it!)
